Subject  Enrichment  Talk  on Values and Importance of Social Science Curriculum

A  subject  enrichment  talk  was  conducted  by  first  year  B.  Ed.  Social  science  students (2022-2023) named “Values and Importance of Social Science Curriculum “. It was held on 18th  October 2022  at  1.45pm  in  social  science  class  room  P.K.M.  College  of  Education, Madampam. The main aim of the programme was to know about the values and importance of the social science curriculum.

The programme was started with a welcome speech by Fr. Amal Tomy. After that, our talk was started by Fr. Joseph N.M, accompanied with Dr. Veena Appukuttan. The talk as mainly focused on the values that a teacher should follow and teach students in schools.

Fr. Joseph pointed out that there are certain values that a teacher should teach students. Some of they are informative values, disciplinary values, political values, ethical values, educational values, cultural values, professional values etc.    The students also participated in the talk and expressed their opinion on the topic. At the end of the programme Ms. Anju delivered vote of thanks. The programme ended at 2.30 pm.
