‘OPPAM: Holding hands with Victims of Calamities’-( Flood calamities and the COVID-19 pandemic) is a community intervention of P.K.M. College of Education functioning as part of the ‘Share Your SpareTM Movement’.

During the heavy flood calamities of Kerala in 2018 and 2019, the college in partnership with other voluntary organisations extended our help and support through various programmes such as “Kuttanadinoppam, Onakkodi distribution” etc.

In the context of COVID-19 pandemic, various community interventions were organised in association with governmental and non-governmental agencies. Adv. Sajeev Joseph Irikkur MLA inaugurated the community intervention campaigns on 2nd June 2021.

OPPAM functions as a rapid response team during and after the disasters, calamities and pandemic situations.
