The institute has formed Women's Cell in order to address all the activities and issues related to women at the college. The women cell aims at empowering women through umpteen programs. The club in fact identifies strong candidates with leadership quality and change makers amongst women and encourage in building their capacity. The committee works hard to promote a culture of respect and equality for the female gender in the society. It also functions to provide opportunities and programs for female gender to be secure financially, mentally, and emotionally. Through the activities taken up by the Women's Cell, women are empowered so as to promote their growth as individuals in their own right. The Cell brings awareness among the women about the guidelines of Supreme Court in relation to women and their rights and to ensure that sexual harassment is treated as an unacceptable social behavior within the institution and the society. It works to foster girls' education Inculcating entrepreneurial attitude among young girls at the earliest so that they can be fruitful and productive in their job and family. The Cell also addresses the issues and complaints expressed by the women. The victimized woman can lodge a complaint either in writing or speaking in person to any of the members of the committee. The complaint’s name and identity will always be kept confidential. If it has been proved that the offender has indulged in the harassment or abuse of women, then appropriate action will be taken against them, irrespective of who they are.
