NSS Unit

The NSS is a part of the Development of Youth Affairs and Sports under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a voluntary organization which aims at educating the student community by arousing in them the social consciousness through community service. NSS volunteers get ample opportunities to come in touch with the community around, to channel out their energies through constructive social action, to become aware of the social problems and needs and thus develop a sense of social responsibility and democratic leadership. The NSS unit was started from the beginning of this current academic year by giving membership to 50 students who are first year students of B.Ed. Every day various programs are organized under the leadership of NSS. Ours is NSS Unit No.87
