Young Innovators programme is an initiative of K-DISC (Kerala Development & Innovation Strategic Council) by Kerala Government. The aim of the programme is to empower future innovators to innovative new products, services or models to meet emerging requirements, unarticulated needs, or existing market needs of the society more effectively through specially designed challenges. Our college participated in the YIP Programme from last few years. They call for projects under different themes and according to their directions we made a student’s team for YIP with two facilities of our college as facilitators and one faculty as moderator.
Facilitators & Moderator discuss about different themes of YIP and make a project after different meetings and discussions. This project plan submitted to K.Disc. After that K-DISC scrutinize all application and call for district presentations. Later they call for state level presentations. They give awards and financial aid for good ideas/projects. In 2021 our college YIP team was selected for both district and state level presentations. This YIP programme is a good initiatives for young people who comes with new profitable idea. We promote YIP activities in our college from 2021.
