Aksharakoottam

AKSHARAKOOTAM: Share a book Campaign” is a community extension project of Library and Information Centre of P.K.M. College of Education under the auspices of the ‘Share Your Spare^TM Movement’.

AKSHARAKOOTAM campaign includes collection and donation of books. The Staff, Students, Parents, Alumni, and well-wishers donate books during their celebration of memorable days. The books are collected in the drop box placed in the library and are shared with public and school libraries to promote a culture of reading among the public and school students.

AKSHARAKOOTAM was inaugurated on 13th December 2019 by Mar Joseph Pandarasseril in the presence of Dr K Muraleedharan, Former President of Kerala College Librarians’ Association (KCLA) and Former Librarian of NSS College Changanachery. The primary contributor to the book collection campaign was Prof. Thomas Mullappalli, member of the Governing Body
