Grievances Redressal

As suggested by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, the College has established an Grievance Redressal Cell, to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute. The objectives of Grievance Redressal Committee are to deal with the complaints lodged by any student and redress it as it should be. By constituting this cell, the institution aims at solving the grievances of the students within the areas of grievance concerned. A grievance box is installed at the administrative block in which the students and faculty can drop their papers addressing their complaints. This is useful in case one doesn't wish to reveal their name. It deals with all types of grievances and complaints in matters of academic, examination, library, infrastructure, quality of teaching, hostel, canteen, hygiene, sanitation, victimization etc. The functions of the Cell are to attend the cases promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students. The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the Management policy. The cell will certainly give report to the authority about the cases attended and seek direction and guidance from the Management for the cases couldn't be solved by the cell.

Objectives

  • Providing stakeholders with accessible channels to ensure prompt resolution of grievances.
  • Maintaining fairness and impartiality while finding solutions for the issues faced by the aggrieved party.
  • Ensuring complete confidentiality and preventing victimization or harassment of the complainant.
  • Monitoring the smooth functioning of the college and safeguarding human rights and civil liberties.
