OBC Cell

OBC cell was established at PKM College of Education with the purpose to empower the OBC students. It was set up in the college to ensure proper implementation of various schemes of UGC, NCTE, Government of India and state government. Various schemes concerning scholarships and stipends also properly implemented through this cell.

objectives

• Work for the welfare of the OBC reserved categories of students
• To educate the students and staff of OBC categories of the college to make use of facilities extended by government and other agencies.
• Addressing the concerns and promoting the welfare of students belonging to the OBC category.
• Ensuring equitable opportunities, social justice to its members
• Action in various sectors such as education awareness, employment awareness, and public services of its members
• Preventing any type of discrimination against its members

The OBC Cell at PKM also works towards preventing discrimination of any type. Fostering inclusivity for OBC communities is one of the aims of OBC cell.
