‘Care our Beloved’ is a Collaborative Initiative of P.K.M. College of Education functioning as part of the ‘Share Your SpareTM Movement’ to develop Sensitivity towards Fellow Beings, especially ‘Caring’.
‘Care our Beloved: Home and Palliative Care’ intends to train student teachers to give care to patients and their families who are facing a serious, life threatening illness.
The student teachers are given awareness and training in home and palliative care in collaboration with voluntary organisations such as Samaritan Palliative Centre, Kaniv Palliative Centre and Janamythri Residential Association.
The student teachers are also given direct experience in home and palliative care by associating with the schedules of the organisations.
