Fibonacci day Celebration

Celebration of Fibonacci day by conducting puzzle, riddle competitions in Mathematics class cum method lab.

Mathematics department of PKM College of Education, Madampam organized a celebration on Fibonacci day for first year mathematics student teachers on 30th  November 2022 at 11.30 AM in Mathematics class cum method lab.

    Ms.Ziya.R delivered the welcome address. Moderator Dr. Sholy Joseph gave an introduction to the programme. Ms. Liya delivered felicitation to the programme. Ms. Akhila V began the celebration by giving brief information about Fibonacci day celebration. She mentioned about Fibonacci sequence, Golden ratio, Fibonacci sequence in nature, Fibonacci day etc.

As part of  the celebration, Ms. Akhila V partitioned the students into two groups and conducted a competition which included puzzles, riddles and general questions on Mathematics. Also she gave the task to solve the Jigsaw puzzle to both the groups. She ensured the active participation of all students. Ms. Snehadas D S proposed vote of thanks. The programme came to an end by 12.30 pm.
