Reinforcing Sporting Culture At P.K.M

On March 30, 2023, a joint initiative was undertaken by the Health and Fitness Club and the IQAC of the P.K.M. College of Education, Madampam, to honour the student teachers who achieved success in the field of sports for the academic year 2022–2023. . The welcome address was given by Dr. Sinoj Joseph, assistant professor of physical education. Dr. Jessy N.C., principal of P.K.M. College of Education, praised in her presidential address. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Johnson, Former Indian Navy Kabaddi player and founder of Midline Academy in Mumbai and Piller Events in Dubai. In his address, he shared the challenges he faced during his journey, how to overcome it, and the importance of sports in education. After that, the student teacher Zia R. of the Department of Education- Mathematics, who participated in the All India Inter-University Softball Championship organised by Punjab University, was honoured by the chief guest, Arun Johnson. Miss Aiswarya K, expressed her vote of thanks for the programme. The programme came to an end by 12:30 p.m.
