“Education in Times of Covid: Challenges and Possibilities”

The Department of Social Science & IQAC at PKM College of Education, Madampam, organized a webinar titled “Education in Times of Covid: Challenges and Possibilities” on June 29, 2020. This webinar was held in collaboration with the NGO Institute of Education Training and Development. Dr. Veena Appukuttan, the staff coordinator, extended a warm welcome to all the participants.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Jessy N.C., the Principal of PKM College. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Jaya Jaise, a distinguished professor and the Dean of the Faculty of Education at M G University, Kottayam. Sri Emmanuel T. Antony, Principal in charge, In-service Faculty Interaction Innovation & Coordination Faculty, and Senior Lecturer at DIET Kottayam, served as the resource person for the event.

Following the insightful presentation, there was an engaging discussion session where attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas and insights. Miss Sanooja P.P., the Student Coordinator, expressed her gratitude to all those in attendance for their active participation and contributions to the event.

The webinar concluded at 12:45 PM, leaving the participants enriched with knowledge and a better understanding of the challenges and possibilities in education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
