Internship First Feedback Session

Attendees: 49 B.Ed trainees, faculty members, and principal Dr. Jessy N.C
The internship feedback session began with a prayer at 9:45 am, followed by an address from Principal Dr. Jessy N.C. The principal inquired about the trainees’ experiences and challenges faced during their one-month internship in six schools.
Trainees shared their experiences, with most reporting positive interactions.
Common challenges faced included technical issues, lack of proper infrastructure, and student behavior. Teacher educators emphasized the need for additional strategies and techniques in teaching. Remedial measures were provided by faculty members to address concerns.
After a lunch break from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm, the trainees attended optional classes and submitted individual feedback and records.
Veena Miss addressed the trainees, distributed a student grievances form, and facilitated a final conclusion. The session concluded at 3:00 pm.
Based on the feedback, the following recommendations can be made:
* Improve infrastructure and technical support in schools.
* Develop strategies to manage student behavior.
* Provide additional training and resources for teacher educators.
The internship feedback session provided a valuable platform for trainees to share their experiences and concerns. The faculty and principal addressed the issues and offered remedial measures, ensuring a supportive and constructive environment for the trainees’ growth and development.
