The Department of Mathematics conducted the college assembly on 24th September 2025 as a mock school assembly, intended to train student teachers on how to effectively organize and present an assembly. The programme was effectively coordinated under the leadership of Ebeena Thomas. The assembly began with the Prayer, led by Aswathi P. Reghunath, Devika M, Varsha K, and Swetha Raj, creating a serene atmosphere. Following this, Varsha K led the College Prayer, and Swetha Raj recited the Teachers’ Prayer. The Pledge was administered by Aswathi P. Reghunath, instilling a sense of unity and responsibility among the students.
The Thought of the Day was shared by Varsha K. The News Reading was done by Devika M. Aswathi P. Reghunath also delivered a speech on NSS, highlighting the importance of service and social commitment. Furthermore, Varsha K presented meaningful Quotes on Service, motivating the gathering.
As part of the observance of Women’s Health and Fitness Day, Swetha Raj shared valuable Health Tips, and along with Devika M, demonstrated simple Exercises to promote well-being.
The assembly was addressed by the Headmistress, Ms. Anumol Togi, who emphasized the significance of discipline, service, and health awareness. Follow- ing this, Dr. Sinoj Joseph, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education and the NSS Coordinator of the college, gave a speech and provided directions regarding the observance of NSS Day and its celebrations. The assembly concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
