The Department of Malayalam conducted a Mock School Assembly on 22nd October 2025, aimed at training student-teachers in effectively organizing and presenting a school assembly. The programme commenced with a prayer by all students, followed by the college and teachers’ prayers led by Anjusree P. The pledge was administered by Vismaya N. P., and the thought for the day was presented by Adithya P. T. The news reading was done by Sandra Sajayan, who also recited verses from the poem “Renuka” by Murukan Kattakkada. Mr. Arun K. delivered an informative talk on Nut’s Day and Colours Day. A major highlight of the event was the release of the handwritten magazine “Kaada”, prepared by the students of the Department of Malayalam. The magazine was inaugurated by Dr. Jessy N. C., Principal, in the presence of Ms. Sajina C. K., Assistant Professor (Guest), Department of Malayalam. The first copy was received by Adithya P. T., Malayalam Representative. The winners of the Travelogue Writing Competition conducted by the Literary Club were announced and felicitated by the Principal, in the presence of Dr. Maya J. Pillai, Staff Coordinator of the Literary Club. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the Spelling Bee Competition organized by the Department of English. Ms. Sreelakshmi T., who served as the Headmistress of the Day, addressed the gathering with inspiring words. A short exercise session was conducted by Vismaya N. P. under the guidance of Dr. Sinoj Joseph, Assistant Professor in Physical Education. Mr. Arun K. served as the Assembly Leader. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
