The Social Science Department of PKM College of Education conducted a Mock School Assembly on 15th October 2025, aimed at training student-teachers in effectively organizing and presenting a school assembly. The programme commenced with the morning prayer by Aswathy and Rehina, followed by the college prayer by Sruthy K. Saji and the teachers’ prayer by Jwala Thomas. Sithara K. V. led the pledge, while Ramseena presented the thought for the day and Sreesha read the news. As October 15 is observed as World Students’ Day and Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary, Nipun shared an inspiring message highlighting the significance of the day. The assembly also included a brief exercise session led by Midhun, followed by the release of a timeline prepared by the Social Science students. Dr. Jessy N. C., Principal, felicitated the winners of the Gandhi Jayanti Quiz and Photography Competitions. Later, Ms. Anna Christa Alex, Headmistress, addressed the gathering, followed by a message from the Principal. The programme was anchored by Subisha T., and the assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
