Flipped Learning Session on Social Science as a Core Discipline

The program titled “Flipped Learning Session on Social Science as a Core Discipline ” was held at Social Science Class cum Method lab on 23^rd October 2024. In order to use the Flipped Learning Session effectively, a home assignment was given to the student teachers . They are asked to go through the learning material regarding the topic  and they come prepared for the session. The program started at 1:30 PM and Ms. Sangeetha  , student teacher of department of social science ,delivered the welcome speech. The program was inaugurated by Dr.Veena Appukuttan, Associate Professor Department of Social Science. The session was handled by Sudhina. T , Student teacher of Social Science department . She presented the primary aim of teaching social science as a core discipline.  The session equips students with a deeper understanding of human behavior, social structures and relationships. The interactive seeks to foster critical thinking, analytical skills and reasoning ,which enables students to navigate complex social issues. She clarified all the doubts and the session was very fruitful.
