Grand Visit of Grand Children Programme

Professor Kandoth Memorial B.Ed College organized a ‘Grand Visit of Grand Children’ program where the grand children of Chevalier VJ Joseph Kandoth visited college which evoked a deep sense of nostalgia. Professor Kandoth’s grandchildren Sera Jose, Sheelu Peter and son-in-law Thomas Peter came to visit the college. A warm welcome was extended to them under the leadership of college principal Dr. Jessy N.C. and they were honoured in the meeting conducted with various cultural programmes. One of the main architects of the Malabar migration, a social reformer and educationist, Professor Kandoth was reminisced by his grandchildren and interacted with the students and teachers. This rare visit inspired the teacher students to grow up to become gifted teachers like Professor Kandoth who stands as a beacon of light. College Vice Principal Dr. Prashant Mathew delivered the welcome speech. Principal Dr. Jessy N C presided over the function. Fr. Dr. Sinoj Joseph delivered the Prof. Kandoth memorial lecture. College Chairperson Anitta Biju delivered the vote of thanks.
