Inauguration of the College Union “Samhathi” 2025–26

The College Union “Samhathi” for the academic year 2025–2026 was inaugurated by Dr. Sujith K. V., Director of Student Services (DSS), Kannur University, and Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Payyannur College. The inaugural ceremony, held on 7th October 2025 in the college auditorium, was presided over by Union Chairperson Arun K. Principal Dr. Jessy N. C. delivered the principal address, while Pro-Manager Rev. Fr. Joy Kattiyankal delivered the benedictory address. Union Vice Chairperson Nandana C. welcomed the gathering. P.T.A. President Mr. Joseph T. M., Staff Advisor Dr. Veena Appukuttan, University Union Councillor Akshara S. Manohar, and Second-year Student Representative Amin Mathew offered felicitations. A soulful solo performance was presented by student-teacher Rahana T. Union General Secretary Jwala Thomas proposed the vote of thanks. During the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the students who presented papers at the conference held at St. Thomas College of Teacher Education, Pala. The afternoon session featured a variety of cultural performances by the students.
