Switch-on Ceremony of Laptops and Interactive Session with MLAs SajeevJoseph and Chandy Oommen

PKM College of Education witnessed the official switch-on event of five laptops
donated by Irikkur MLA Adv. Sajeev Joseph, followed by an interactive session with Puthuppally
MLA Adv. Chandy Oommen. The event took place in the college auditorium with the presence of
esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and students on 30th January 2025.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by the Vice Principal, Dr. Prashanth Mathew,
followed by the presidential address delivered by the Principal, Dr. Jessy N. C. In his inaugural
address, Adv. Sajeev Joseph expressed his privilege in collaborating with PKM College students
on various initiatives and encouraged active student participation in developmental projects.
Following the inaugural function, Adv. Chandy Oommen engaged in a meaningful interaction with
the teacher-students of PKM College. The session provided an insightful platform where students
voiced their concerns and queries regarding the future of education, fostering an engaging and
thought-provoking discussion.
The event was further enriched by a felicitation speech delivered by Dr. Veena Appukkuttan,
IQAC Coordinator. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Aneeta Biju, a secondyear English student, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and participants for making the
event a success.
This significant occasion reinforced the college’s commitment to academic excellence and
constructive dialogue, offering students an opportunity to engage with policymakers on matters of
educational development
