WORLD AIDS DAY OBSERVANCE

The NSS Unit No.87 of P.K.M. College of Education, Madampam, observed World AIDS Day on 1st December 2025 with the theme “Red Threads of Compassion.”
The event was officially inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Jessy N.C., who emphasized the need for continuous awareness and collective efforts to eliminate stigma related to HIV/AIDS. Following this, all participants took the AIDS Day pledge, affirming their commitment to support those affected and to stand against discrimination. As part of the observance, an Exhibition Competition was organized among the various departments of the college. Each department presented informative and creative displays on themes related to HIV/AIDS, prevention methods, myths and facts, and the importance of compassion. The exhibition enabled students to express their perspectives and enhanced peer learning through visual and interactive presentations.
