P.K.M College Library offers students an excellent selection of Books, Journals, Magazines, e- resources, CDs and internet facilities. The library is computerised with cloud based KOHA library management system. The library provides open access to its documents and any member can browse through the collections which are arranged according to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). All books are bar coded for easy transactions. Internet facility is also provided free of cost to staff and students during working hours. Teachers and students have in-house and remote access to the Library Catalogue, Online Resources and Digital Library. The members can also access scholarly literature which is available online through National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content (N- LIST) of UGC-1NFLIBNET. The link of N-LIST is also available in the library page of the college Website. The Library books collection includes 7400+ volumes. The library subscribes to 8 journals, 17 popular magazines and 5 newspapers.
Monday to Saturday 9.00 am to 5 pm
Closed on Second saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays.
Books are issued to the students on borrower cards. Students will be issued three Cards each. As a rule, only one book will be issued on a single card. The reader must surrender his/her card when a book is issued and take back the card when the book is returned.
On completion of the course, students should return their library cards. Borrower cards are not transferable.
Students should submit in writing to the librarian, if their library card is lost. To replace a lost card a duplicate may be issued after one month, on payment of a penalty of Rs. 20/-

The various services and facilities provided by the college library includes Lending Service, Reference service, Current Awareness Service, Journal Archives, Web OPAC, Plagiarism Checker X, KIBO Reading App, White Print Braille Magazine (Inclusive Resources), Newspapers & Magazines, Online resources etc. Also, library provides Library User Orientation Programme, Training in using Online Information Resources etc.
The Digital Library is created using DSpace software. Previous year’s university question papers, College Magazines, College Newsletters etc. are available through this facility.
The College subscribes to Magzter, which provides access to 9000+ online magazines, journals, Newspapers, e books etc. in many languages including English, Hindi and Malayalam. An e-reading facility has been arranged in the library with 3 tablets for using Magzter.
The College has the Plagiarism Checker X Professional which help students and researchers to ensure that their writing is original and correctly cited.
