National Sports Day Celebration at St. Thomas ALP School, Kotturvayal

On the occasion of National Sports Day, on 29th August 2024 PKM College of Education, Madampam, organized a special program at St Thomas ALP School Kotturvayal. The program was conducted under the leadership of Health & fitness club, IQAC and NSS unit. The event aimed to promote sports and physical education among school children.
The highlight of the program was the gift of basketball to the school children. Dr.Sinoj Joseph, the NSS program coordinator and student teachers from PKM College of Education presented two basketballs to the school, symbolizing their commitment to supporting the children’s interest in sports. Dr. Sinoj Joesph addressed the children, emphasizing the importance of sports and physical education in their overall development. He encouraged the children to take up basketball and other sports, and assured them of the support and guidance from PKM College of Education.
Benny Sir, the headmaster of St. Thomas ALP School, expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards PKM College of Education for their generous gift and commitment to supporting the children’s interest in sports. He appreciated the efforts of the student teachers and coordinator in promoting sports and physical education among the school children.
