P.K.M. College of Education Wins Kannur University Inter B.Ed. Shuttle Badminton Championship

The Kannur University Level Inter B.Ed. Shuttle Badminton Tournament for men and women (2025–26) was held on 12 January 2026 at Keyi Sahib Training College, Karimbam, Taliparamba. The tournament aimed to promote sportsmanship, physical fitness, and healthy competition among B.Ed. students of Kannur University. A total of ten B.Ed. colleges participated in the event. The inaugural function featured a welcome address by Dr. Abdulrahiman K, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Physical Education, Keyi Sahib Training College. The matches were conducted efficiently with the support of officials and volunteers. The women’s final was played between P.K.M. College of Education and Mahatma College, while the men’s final was contested between P.K.M. College of Education and Malabar Training College. P.K.M. College of Education emerged as champions in both categories. The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sinoj Joseph, Convener of the tournament and Assistant Professor of Physical Education, P.K.M. College of Education, Madampam.
