P.K.M. College of Education Wins Kannur University Inter B.Ed. Volleyball Tournament

The Kannur University Inter B.Ed. Volleyball Tournament for the academic year 2026–27 was successfully hosted by P.K.M. College of Education, Madampam on 2nd February 2026. The event commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony, which was graced by Dr. Prasanth Mathew, Vice Principal, RUSA Coordinator, and Head of the Department of Physical Science, who officially inaugurated the tournament. The first match of the tournament was played between P.K.M. College of Education and Rajeev Memorial College of Teacher Education, in which P.K.M. College of Education secured a decisive victory. The second match featured SUM College of Teacher Education and Salafi B.Ed. College, with SUM College of Teacher Education emerging as the winner. In the first semi-final, P.K.M. College of Education competed against Malabar B.Ed. Training College and won the match to advance to the finals. The second semi-final was played between Crescent B.Ed. College and SUM College of Teacher Education, where Crescent B.Ed. College emerged victorious. The final match was held between P.K.M. College of Education and Crescent B.Ed. College. P.K.M. College of Education displayed exceptional teamwork and skill, securing a well-earned victory to become the Champions of the tournament, while Crescent B.Ed. College secured the position of Runners-up. SUM College of Teacher Education and Malabar B.Ed. Training College were placed as Second Runners-up. A formal valedictory function was conducted following the final match, during which the winners were felicitated.
