Blessing Ceremony for School Internship and Release of ‘ANTARA’- College Magazine

P.K.M. College of Education, Madampam, organized a Blessing Ceremony for the 2025–2027 batch of student teachers entering their school internship, along with the release of ANTARA, the College Magazine 2025–2026, on 30 June 2026 at 3.00 p.m. in the College Conference Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Shaji Vadakkethottil, Bursar and Local Manager of the College, who blessed the student teachers and extended his heartfelt wishes for a successful and enriching internship. He encouraged them to uphold the values and responsibilities of the teaching profession throughout their internship journey. A highlight of the programme was the release of “ANTARA”, the College Magazine 2025–2026. The first copy of the magazine was presented to Dr. Jessy N.C., Former Principal of the College and Chief Editor of ANTARA, in recognition of her leadership and valuable contribution to its publication. The function was presided over by Dr. Prasanth Mathew, Principal of the College. Following the formal proceedings, Dr. Jessy N.C. interacted with the student teachers, sharing her experiences and offering valuable guidance as they prepared to begin their school internship. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Veena Appukkuttan, IQAC Coordinator. Mrs. Jomol Jose, Staff Editor and Assistant Professor of Natural Science, and Deekshitha, Student Editor of ‘ANTARA’, also addressed the gathering. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Rajesh K. J., Staff Association Secretary. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the student teachers, celebrating both their transition to the internship phase and the release of ‘ANTARA’, reflecting the institution’s vibrant academic and creative culture.
