International Folklore Day “Vadakkan Peruma Jana Jeevitha Drishyavishkravum Samvadhavum”

24/8/2022 Wednesday, as part of international folklore day the students of the malayalam optional performs a programme “Vadakkan Peruma Jana Jeevitha Drishyavishkaravum Samvadhavum”. Alex Jose, teacher student of the Malayalam optional, gave a welcome speech in the programme which started at 1:30 noon. The programme was presided over by Sr. Caroline, Asst. Professor in Malayalam, and inaugurated by principal Dr. Sr. Jessy NC. College Pro-Manager Rev. Fr. Joy Kattiyangal was the chief guest at the event. Later, social science teacher Dr. Veena Appukkuttan and teacher student Akshara Mol gave a felicitation speech for the event. After that there was a display and discussion of different cultures. The aim of this programme was to introduce a new method of teaching in this period where learning is boring. Categories such as Kakathy, Panan, Chekavar, Mukkuvathi and Christian lady were introduced at the programme. After the presentation teachers and students recorded their evaluation. Then the programme ended at exactly 2:30 with a thank- you speech by Anagha Chandran, a teacher student of Malayalam optional.
