One Day Seminar on “Indian Nationalism and Gandhian Thoughts”

On 30/01/2020 a one day seminar on “Indian Nationalism and Gandhian Thoughts” was held in the auditorium of P.K.M College o Education. This was led by Social Science Department and IQAC. The programme officially started at 10 am. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Dileep Kumar P (Faculty, Kerala Civil Service Academy, Retd.HSST, IMNS GHSS Mayyil). Mr Dileep Kumar P and Dr. Sr Jessy N.C offered floral tributes to Gandhi. A magazine prepared by Social Science department on Life of Gandhi was released by the chief guest. The main themes of the Magazine were the life and of Gandhi, Gandhi in Kerala, Gandhian ideologies and beliefs, Quotes and Messages of Gandhi and challenges of Gandhian thoughts.

Prizes for republic day quiz competition, Hiroshima Nagasaki day related title writing competitions etc were distributed. The theme presentation was started at 11.00 am. This session was led by Mr. Dileep Kumar P. The resource person talked about the relevance of Gandhian Thoughts in the present scenario. Students and teachers clarify their doubts during the discussion. The programme came to an end by 1 pm.
