On 9th September 2024, the NSS unit and share your spare of P.K.M. College of Education organized a visit to the Good Samaritan Rehabilitation and Training Centre. The key objectives include:
Interact with the residents, understand their needs, and contribute to their well-being. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff.
The students engaged in various activities with the residents, including dance and songs. These interactions provided valuable insights into the challenges faced by those in rehabilitation.
Throughout the visit, our team observed the positive impact that the Good Samaritan Centre has on its residents, offering them a supportive environment for recovery and personal growth. The visit not only deepened our understanding of social responsibility but also reinforced the importance of empathy and community service. Our unit contribute financially to the center’s efforts.
