Local History Magazine Release

A hand-written local history magazine made by the students of the Department of Social Science (2023-25 batch) was published on 18th March 2024. The publication event was organized in the general classroom of first year students at 2.30 pm. Dr. Veena Appukkuttan, Head of the Department of Social Science presided over the event. Dr. Jessy NC, college principal inaugurated the program and published the Local history magazine – ‘നാട് പറയുന്ന കഥകൾ’. Class representative Dhanya C introduced the magazine and shared her experience in making it. A video depicting the local history of each Social Science student was also shown through the flat interactive screen. Anusree K P, Alumni of Department of Social Science felicitated the function. It was Sr. Leena Thomas who delivered the welcome note and Sharika KR gave the vote of thanks. The citrus fruit finger lime was distributed to the attendees as a reminder to the local tastes while showing the local tales video.
