PAINTING COMPETITION for Upper Primary School Students

The Sci -Fiesta 2025 ‘Painting Competition for Upper Primary School Students’ was conducted on February 7, 2025 at P.K.M. College of Education as part of the District Level National Science Day Celebrations supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment, Government of Kerala.
As part of the programme, a school-level painting competition was organized for upper primary students on the theme “World in 2050: A Vision for a Greener Future.” Student teachers collected and evaluated around 500 paintings from 24 schools across Kannur district. The top three paintings from each school were recognized with certificates, while the first three positions received prizes and certificates. The event successfully fostered creativity and scientific imagination among young minds.
The paintings were exhibited in the Social Science Class.

The Painting Competition was coordinated by student coordinators Ms. Riya Sunil and Ms Aneena Chacko of B.Ed. Physical Science, 2024-26 batch.
