State Level National Science Day Celebrations – 2025

State level National Science Day Celebrations- 2025 was held on 28th February 2025 at Padmam Hall, Institute of Management in Government (IMG), Thiruvananthapuram organised by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE), Government of Kerala in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
The programme coordinators from different institutions of the state were honoured in recognition of their efforts in organizing the District Level National Science Day Celebrations. Dr Prasanth Mathew, Assistant Professor in Physical Science & Vice Principal of P.K.M College of Education, who co-ordinated the Kannur District Level celebrations was invited for the State Level event and received certificate of appreciation from Dr A.Sabu, Member Secretary(KSCSTE).
Arun Jaimon (2023-25, Physical Science ) and Riya Sunil(2024-26, Physical Science ) Student coordinators for the Science Kit Making Competition; Sisira .V (2023-25, Natural Science ) and Nijil Sans(2023-25, Mathematics) Student coordinators for the workshop on STEM in Education; Archana P.V(2023-25, Physical Science ) and Aneena Chacko(2024-26, Physical Science ) Student coordinators for the Painting Competition also participated in the event.
Dr. Padmakumar E.S., Director of ISRO Inertial System Unit (IISU), Thiruvananthapuram inaugurated the event followed by invited talks of Dr. Vasudevan Biju, Professor at Hokkaido University, Japan and Dr. Ratheesh R, Director of CMET-Hyderabad. Youth-Led Innovations were also presented in the event.
