Celebration of the 79th Independence Day

P.K.M College of Education, Madampam, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great grandeur. On 15th August 2025 at 9.15 a.m., Principal, Dr. Jessy N. C., hoisted the national flag. Following that, the Independence Day gathering began in the college auditorium with the welcome speech delivered by Dr. Sinoj Joseph, faculty of the Physical Education Department. The Principal, Dr. Jessy N. C., presided over the function. The Vice Principal, Dr. Prasanth Mathew, delivered the felicitation speech. Former soldier Mr. Manuel T. P and the wife of a late former soldier, Mrs. Shaiby M. T, were honored. The Independence Day meeting concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the student Anna Christ Alex.
Afterwards, a variety of cultural programs—including group song, group dance, and a skit—were staged by the students. The Independence Day celebrations concluded with cleaning activities carried out under the leadership of the college NSS unit.
