World Peace Day Celebration 2025

As part of the World Peace Day observance, the Beacon of Peace was inaugurated on 22nd September 2025 at 2:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Hall by Dr. Sinoj Joseph, Assistant Professor of Physical Education and NSS Coordinator of PKM College of Education. The event was organized in association with the Peace Builders Forum, NSS, and IQAC. Minimol George, Assistant Professor of Malayalam and Peace Coordinator, served as the resource person. The celebration aimed to foster peace, harmony, and unity within the campus community. It featured four meaningful sessions:

Peace Prayer & Pledge by students and teachers.
Inauguration of the Peace Garden by Dr. Sinoj Joseph, marked by planting a rose in the college premises.
Peace Walk, symbolizing the commitment to peace and harmony, flagged off by Dr. Jisha James, Assistant Professor of English.
Resource Talk by Minimol George, highlighting the significance of peace in daily life and the collective responsibility to nurture it.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, making the celebration a resounding success. It reaffirmed the institution’s collective commitment to building a culture of peace, unity, and harmony.
