Best Paper Presentation Award at International Conference

At the two-day International Conference on Resilience and Rights: Women’s Pathways to Empowerment in Comparative Perspective (ICRAR 2025), held on November 20 and 21, jointly organized by the Centre for Women’s Welfare and Social Empowerment and the Department of Education, National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Ms. Jwala Thomas, a student-teacher from the Department of Social Science, won the Best Paper Presentation Award. Her paper, titled “Gender Sensitivity in Teacher Education Institutions: Pathways Towards SDG 5,” was prepared under the guidance of Dr. Prasanth Mathew, Head of the Department of Physical Science, P.K.M. College of Education. The conference featured nearly 60 paper presentations, of which six were selected for Best Presentation Awards.
