Poetry at Work Day 2023

As part of Poetry at Work Day 2023, Chrysalis, learning community for English teachers organized a literary discussion and presentation of collected poems and songs on 10/01/2023 Tuesday.

The members of Chrysalis collected songs that are used to ease the difficulties of human labor from different sources. Those songs include Nattipattu, sung while planting the paddy, Koythupattu sung at the time of harvest, the song used by woodworkers, etc. A pedagogic discussion based on the evolution and metrics of those songs was conducted.
