AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH ALUMNI

To enhance the professional competency of student teachers an interactive session “Reflections on Language” was organised by IQAC in association with Alumni Association on 16th August 2024. Mr. Mani P.P., Assistant Professor, Govt. Brennen College, Thalassery and Treasurer of Alumni Association, PKM College of Education handled the session. Mani sir provided a detailed analysis of the differences between home language and school language, and their impacts on students’ learning. The session covered various language skills, including listening, speaking, and writing, with a particular focus on the importance of scientific language skills for educators. He also emphasized the crucial role of effective communication between students and teachers and discussed the module’s relevance within the syllabus.
