Breast Cancer Awareness Programme

A breast cancer awareness programme was conducted by the IQAC at PKM College  in association with Caritas Cancer Institute on 30th October 2024 at 3:00 PM at the video conference room in the college in online mode. Dr. Jenny Joseph, Senior Consultant of Radiation Oncology at Caritas Cancer Institute was the resource person for the programme. The welcome speech was delivered by IQAC Coordinator Dr. Veena Appukkuttan followed by the presidential address by college Principal Dr. Jessy N. C. Subsequently, student representative Sneha K V introduced Dr. Jenny Joseph to the audience after which the awareness talk commenced. The college Vice-Principal Dr. Prasanth Mathew was also present in the function. The engaging interaction session with Dr. Jenny Joseph covered all areas relating to breast cancer.  Before concluding she devoted her time to clear the doubts of students regarding the life threatening condition. Finally, the vote of thanks was offered by student representative Anaswara Muraleedharan O.
