PEACE WEBINARSTRATEGIES OF PEACE BUILDING &CONFLICT RESOLUTION

The PKM College of Education, Madampam, under its Peace Education initiative, organized a
webinar on “Strategies of Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution.”The event aimed to provide
insights into effective methods of conflict resolution and peacebuilding in society. Dr. C. P.
Anto, the Director of Peace Channel and Principal of N.E.I.S.S.R., Nagaland, was the resource
person.

The webinar began with a welcome speech by Sister Caroline, who emphasized the importance
of peace education in resolving conflicts. Following this, Dr. C. P. Anto led the session,
discussing various peacebuilding strategies and conflict resolution techniques. He explained
the role of education in fostering a peaceful society and encouraged participants to adopt non
violent approaches to conflicts. The session was interactive, allowing attendees to ask questions
and share their thoughts.
