Report of Malayalam Day & Official Language Celebration

In connection with the observance of November 1 as Malayalam Day and November 1 to 7 as Official Language Week, P.K.M. College of Education organized various programs under the name “Malayalapperuma – 2024.” In the assembly held at 9:30 a.m. on November 1, students took the Malayalam Language Pledge under the leadership of Principal Dr. Jessy N.C. Following this, the Principal led the college office staff in reciting the Official Language Pledge. At 11:30 a.m., the College Union and IQAC jointly conducted a quiz competition and a drawing competition based on the theme “Kerala.” Under the leadership of the Malayalam Department, a digital poster-making competition on the topic “Kerala – Then and Now” was also conducted. On November 4, the college library organized a handwriting competition and a reading competition for students. From November 1 to 7, English terms commonly used in administration and their equivalent Malayalam words were displayed in the college office.
