National Voters Day

Objectives
- Encourage young voters to participate in the electoral process.
- To inculcate democratic consciousness in student teachers.
- Increase the number of eligible voters.
- Provide an opportunity to recognize the efforts of election officials.
- Increase voter participation among marginalized and underrepresented groups.
Social Science Department and Under the leadership of PKM College of Education Electoral Literacy Club, a pledge and short lecture was held on the occasion of National Consent Day.
The program started with an assembly at 9.30 in the General Hall. In the program, teacher students and head of English department Dr. Rekha KR also participated. First of all Isabel Sunny, a teacher student of the Department of Social Science, spoke about the importance and concept of National Consent Day. After P. K. M. College of Education Electoral Literacy Club Convener and Social Science Department Student Teacher Sharika K. R. Led the National Consent Day Pledge.
