Anti-Drug Committee

The anti-drugs committee of PKM College has been formed to ensure a safe and happy drug- free campus by imposing a complete ban on the possession or consumption or use of drugs and alcohol by students of the college, within or outside the campus or hostels. The committee has set rules and strictly prohibits the use of drugs. The functions of the anti-drugs committee lie in organizing awareness programs in the college and hostels with the help of government authorized people or organizations. They help in educating the students regarding the bad-effects of drugs and alcohol. The committee takes the matter seriously and helps out to observe these kinds of issues and ensure guidance.

  • To enable the students to extend their awareness on harmful effects of drug usage and its impact on human brain.
  • To implement effective measures to prevent abuse and dependence on harmful drugs inside the campus and hostel.
  • To create awareness in students about drug abuse resulting in health hazards, accidents and other anti – social activities.
