Health and first aid committee stands for maintaining health among staff, students and public. This committee ensures first aid required in needy situations. According to the World Health Organization, health is “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Taking care of our physical body is good for our mental health. The mind and body interact and influence one another in complex ways. Physical illness can make managing our mental well-being more difficult. Stress, lack of energy, poor sleep, and other problems can also take a toll on how we feel mentally. So health and first aid committee organizes health awareness programmes, campaigns, extension activities etc. Also promote a healthy life style among students, staff and public.
