Academic Calendar Committee

The Academic Calendar Committee is dedicated to creating, maintaining, and disseminating accurate and up-to-date information regarding the academic calendar, schedules, and documentation of academic activities within the college. The committee serves as a vital link between academic departments, students, and administrative units to ensure a well-coordinated and organized academic environment.

Objectives

• Plans the academic calendar, ensuring a balance between instructional days, examinations, and breaks.
• Develop and maintain the official academic calendar, including all important academic milestones.
• Collaborate with academic departments to gather and verify information related to class schedules, curriculum updates, and any changes in academic timelines.
• Work closely with other committees to coordinate class schedules and other academic activities, ensuring minimal scheduling conflicts.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards for academic information, including templates for academic reports, syllabi, and other essential documents.
• The committee meets regularly to discuss upcoming academic events, review documentation processes, and address any challenges or improvements needed in academic calendar management. This committee plays a pivotal role in maintaining a structured and well-documented academic environment, fostering effective communication, and supporting the overall success of academic programs within the college.
